2020 COVID-19 UPDATE
AWL is committed to the health and safety of the individuals and families we serve, as well as our staff and our community. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and guidance from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, AWL remains committed to taking the proper precautions to ensure the safety of all. In compliance with the State of Maryland, we have closed our physical locations and we are now operating via telehealth standards to minimize health risks for our staff, our clients, and our communities.
For healthcare professionals on the front lines of the pandemic, we thank you for your commitment to keeping us all safe. Given the emotional strain of COVID-19, we want to remind you that now is the time to make self-care a priority.
If you are looking for personal mental health resources and support, we’re offering complimentary services to help. Complete both Referral and TeleHealth Consent Form, and a member of our staff will follow-up.
Additional Measures AWL Has Taken:
Interpreting government mandates and explaining the impact to our clients and staff
Advocating and identifying resources in Maryland for students and families
Sharing COVID-19 resources
Delivering food and critical supplies to families in need
