Letter from the Chief Executive Officer

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou

I know that so many of us, including myself, have been in great agony over the past few months regarding the health and racial pandemics we’ve been experiencing. You may have seen the videos. You may have read the reports. Some of you may have expressed your thoughts where you could, while others are still processing.

These events invoke overwhelming feelings of sadness, anger, and anxiety. I want to be very clear that all of us here at All Walks of Life are very aware of how this may be affecting you, your loved ones, and the communities we support. I understand that this is a difficult time right now and I want you to know that I care about your physical and mental well-being.

That is why we’re here and why we do what we do. Let’s work together in strengthening our capacities to continue the fight. I am with you.

Floyd E. Taliaferro IV
